Pictures posted under interest

I have read several disussions and responses and have not found a clear answer to this question. People have said that you can't post pictures to the interest section until you have 500 responses. Does this mean that you can post a picture to a discussion until you have 500 responses? I uploaded a picture under parenting last night, but don't know if it actually gets rated for me to make money off of it. Looking for a clearer answer to this question. Please advise in detail? Thank you!

You can't post a picture to a Response that you give to anothers discussion till 500 post. You CAN upload pictures to a discussion that you start and to the interest sections now. :-) I hope this helps you.

Thank you for your response, and yes it helped immensely. Much clearer, I can upload pics on topics that I start, I can't upload to others discussions until I have 500 posts. Most helpful.
