Mothers ; Stay at Home vs Work??

This is a hard call. When my son was born I was 20 and I didn't work. After about 6 months I was bored out of my mind so I went back to school 2 days a week. Now that my son is now turning 8, I think that if I had another child I would want to be home with them full time during the day until they were closer to age 2. I believe at 1 1/2 - 2 it is very important for kids to start socializing with others. Also, many daycare centers start laying the foundation for education, structure, and social skills they will need for pre-K.

I guess it would depend on the situtaion... My daughter was born early and she needs all the tender, love & Care she can get so my husband and I decided I should stay home with her for awhile so then she dont get exposed to others germs right away or have to be at a babysitters. I think alot of people have there own thoughts about this subject but if your finacially stable im sure you would rather stay home and get to know your little bundle of joy because I know I would!!!!

I think it's the mothers decision to make if they want to stay home or work. I work at home and even though I do enjoy getting to be home with my kids and work in my PJ's, I do miss the daily interaction with other adults, lol.
