I do not. I moved away from my hometown and am not in contact with any of my friends from years ago?

I still stay in touch with some of my friends from years ago, especially with my old best friends. We still keep in contact by phone or by email, although we are live in a different place right now, but not many.

that is great that you are still in touch with your friends from years ago. I think that is very rare.

I think life is always changing thins for everyone and doesn't always permit us to do what we'd like such as keep in touch with high school friends. I've lost touch with all my high school friends. Perhaps they've moved away.

I am only in touch with two of my friends from high school. It came about from "classmates" after 40 years. Both are males, and too much to get into on here.

that is nice that you are in touch with 2 people from school. I think it would be interesting to see what they are doing now after all these years.

One found me, and contacted me after 40 years. The other was my first boyfriend, looking for me for over 40 years.

There are a few I still spend time with occasionally. Most though have moved away and have lost contact with them.

I have one that I email and send cards to. We all have different lives, and different paths we took. They live too far away, but even if they lived close, I couldn't hang around them much, they are too different than me for me to enjoy them. Mostly because they are dramatic and need a lot of drama in their lives. I don't really like drama. So we just exchange photos and share news through mail. That is satisfying to me.

One of my closest friends is someone I have known since the 2nd grade. We went to different schools, and she's 2 years older than me, but when we moved into our new house her and her sister asked my mom if she had and girls they could play with. The 4 of us were inseperable for about 2 years, then they moved away. We have all kept in touch for the past 35+ years and the sister was even at my moms house this past New Years Eve. We visit each other every couple years, but have always written (now e-mailed and called) regularly. I do have another friend from High School that I have reconnected with about 5 years ago (right after our 20th reunion). She did not go to the reunion, but that was the first one I had heard about so I made the trip out there to go. She saw my name and e-mail address in the register later and we have been e-mailing since. With some of my "friends" from high school that were at the reunion I was kinda amazed at how different we now were... We used to be pretty close, but time and distance made a big impact on that.

Yes, i still do to most of them. Even some of my classmates in grade school whom i havent seen in 12 years. Because of Friendster and mobile phones, i get to contact them somehow and from time to time catch up on each others lives.

No and I have no desire to.Don't get me wrong.I still care for them but things changed and the three of us have changed in such big way. They have their own life and interests, and I have mine. It's so weird.the three of us were so close, like the three stooges. We always did everything together and were just basically inseperable.Sometimes I hate time for changing us the way he did.

isn`t it strange how close you can be with someone and then after years past it`s so different and not like it was before. I am not in touch with any friends from school but if I was I`m sure it would be way different now.
