so people lets discuss who you think to be the best midfeilder in the world and also state his nationality,well i like Steven Gerrard of England a lot and i think he is the best now after Zidane has retired as he was a great player too.

Okay, after Zidane, maybe Pirlo or Riquelme. Gerrard really good in passing skill and amazing long distance shooting, but not that good to be the best.

I'll have to go with Frank Lampard. He has all the charachteristics a midfielder should have, great playing vision, extremely good in playmaking, exact passing, effective when shooting, knows how to play in team, and I could carry on all day...yes, Frank Lampard is my choice.
