What do you look for in discussions?

I tend to go to discussions with no responses first because I hate it when my discussions get no answers and I feel every discussion is worth at least one reply. Then I like to go discussions my friends have started because they are always great about responding to mine. Whats your favorite place to start?

I just add my "two cents" (literally and figuratively, here on MyLot XD) to discussions that interest me. It doesn't matter whether or not it gets read.

It seems that a lot of great discussions do get over looked. So I also like responding to discussions that get little responses. However, the subject has to catch my attention and the content has to be of decent quality for me to make an effort to respond!

I agree I recently seen a posting about what type of car do you drive. I mean this has no real meaning but an easy posting. To me these are a waste of time. Thanks for your input.
