Which computer?

My HP desktop computer is on it's last legs as it's already going on 7 years old. We've decided to buy another desktop computer, but there are so many out there, I've decided to let you help me with the decision. It needs to be good for high graphics gaming and I'm into digital photography, but not music. Dell seems to have good prices, but what do you think? What's working for you?

We went to Dell and got a custom one made. Lots of room for pictures and to work with video.

Best Computers - I think Dell is one of the best
Dell is very good. Like many said you can tell dell what you need it for and what you want to add like your pictures and that you want it for games as well. Give Dell a call tell them what you want and have them work up a quote and then go from there. They are pretty good about that. It's the way I ordered my laptop.

You can also go online and customize it yourself. they have a bunch of charts that you can compare things like celeron vs intel and things like that so you get just what you want.

We got ours from Dell. It's worked pretty good for us. If I ever have a problem I just call them and they help me get it fixed.

I have intel originl processor and motherboard 1.7 GHZ 256 MB RAM with 8 MB VGA, I cant play big 3D games, so I recommend you to look for a processor greater than 2.0 GHZ with 1 GB RAM and good 3D card

desktop? id go for DELL...you could customize it to become a super system..home entertainment sytem for games music and movies.. you should be able to get yourself a 20" widescreen LCD monitor...aint that just brilliant...and good speakers as well..go for dual core 2...and build up on RAM..2gb would do just fine...Dell also offers top of the line NVIDIA video cards...one with 256mb is great..and yeah the keyboards look awesome..and the chairs too..the black theme goes perfectly with everything..get yourself a HD DVD player as well as HD is starting to be common nowadays...I love DELL desktops...HP and SONY Laptops...Dell is pretty good ...Cheers! Good luck with the desktop...Customized desktops are what you want..this way you wont have any regrets..choose what you want.
