Do you think that you are getting ripped off for a Mcdonalds hamburger or do you think they reasonable in price? Are they healthy for you?

They only have one burger worth eating. That is the double 1/4lb with cheese. The other sandwiches are rip offs.

McDonald's Logo - McDonald's logo sign
I really like McDonalds food and eat it more than any other fast food. I am beginning to wonder why it is getting so expensive and then I go to another burger place and McDonalds is priced in line with them. I think all fast food has gotten to expensive. But McDonald's is my first choice of fast food. They are not reasonable priced but they are inline with all the others and cheaper than some.

I think that their prices are ok , unless they have gone up because I haven't had their food forever.

I don't find a lot of the burgers at McDonald's particularly healthy at all. Furthermore I think they are overpriced for what you get if you buy the burgers by themselves or even if you get them with a meal. The only burgers I think you can get for a half decent price are the ones on the Everyday Deal menu. Even then, the only burger that is worthwhile is the double cheeseburger. I still find though that eating more than one of those at one sitting can have a bad effect on my stomach. I personally don't really like eating at McDonald's like I used to due to the fact every time I eat there I feel terrible afterwards. It's like the food has a negative effect on my stomach. It was one of my favorite places to get fast food from when I was a child because it was relatively cheap and the burgers were always tasty but something has changed since then. It seems that once you grow up you sometimes lose interest in things you used to like as a child. I felt this way with the burgers I used to eat from that place. Nowadays they just don't taste as good as they used to be. I can't seem to stomach a lot of their food without feeling absolutely terrible later on. I've had too many times where we have bought dinner from that place and I've eaten the food and been sick for hours afterwards. I don't care for fast food in general and it's mostly due to the fact that it makes me feel so horrible after I ingest it. If you get a chance to watch it, you should take a look at a documentary by a man by the name a Morgan Spurlock. The documentary is called "Super Size Me" and it has to deal with the whole fast food industry. He is dared to eat McDonald's food for 30 days in a row for every meal to see what the effect is on the human body. By the end of the documentary he is a shell of his former self and his health is failing all because of the food he has ingested for the past month. A doctor even outright tells him that if he doesn't stop he will put himself into the hospital or perhaps worse, a grave. The documentary gives great insight into the fast food industry and how they lure people into eating their food. It also shows what goes into different menu items and what techniques they use to get people in to the restaurants. They even show how sometimes a brainwashing effect is used in their commercials to get those customers to show up. It's a very eye opening film and I thought differently of McDonald's and other fast food places after I completed the movie. There's a scene in the film that really shows how a person who is completely not used to eating fast food in general might react to a meal from them. He orders a Quarter Pounder with Cheese meal with a super sized drink and fries. After about twenty minutes he's still struggling with he fries after eating the burger. After another five minutes he throws up his food which s his body rejecting all the grease and fat he just swallowed. In conclusion, I don't believe that McDonald's is all that good for you in terms of the nutritional value of the food. On top of that I don't think any of it is even worth the price you pay for it in the first place. I think they overcharge for what you get at McDonald's and you're usually left feeling like someone dropped a brick in your stomach after you eat there. Thanks for allowing me to share! xx
