Do you know what the colors of your country's flag means?

We in the USA have red, white and blue. Here's why:
The colors red, white, and blue did not have meanings for The Stars and Stripes when it was adopted in 1777, but when it was adopted in 1782, were defined thus: "White signifies Purity and Innocence; Red, Hardiness and Valor; Blue signifies Vigilance, Perseverance and Justice.
What does yours mean?

I too am from the US and yes I do know what the colors mean. Arent flags beautiful. I looked at the "users by location" part of mylot and the flags are there and they are all so beautiful. I would love to know what the colors in all of them mean.
