the only way i would work in a restaurant is if i could work in the back away from customers because i cant get into serving people and getting a dollar or nothing for a tip plus people dont play when it comes to there food i would rather be in the back

haha yea i was a waitress, it was alright i knew alot fo teh ppl that come there but the other waitress/cook/owner was stealin tips from me...so i quit lol

Yes I used to work at a restaurant/coffee shop. For two years. I had fun and made some new friends, but it is not excct;y how I want to spend the rest of my life, that is for sure. No room for advancement and the mone was just barely over minimum wage and the tips weren't great. But I stuck it out for the two years and was glad I did that until I could find something a little better and a little more suitable for me. Thanks for starting this discussion way back when!
