Glue sticks

Why dont glue sticks stick to the inside of the bottle?

I'm thinking that it doesn't stick for the same reason that regular glue doesn't stick to the bottle. Because it is wet and when in its container, the stick, it stays wet. If the glue were to dry in thstick, then it would be stuck.

I think the air makes it dry. There is no fresh air in the bottle so it doesnt have any need to stick. THANKS!

yea but when you squeeze the bottle you inject air thru the cap, so there is air in the bottle. i think it just doesnt stick to plastic.
