How come it is that everyone when you were yonger they told you not to stand in front of the emergency door but sure enough if their was an emergency you would be running out that door?

because its best that you stay near an adult anybody older than a younger person could stomp and rampage and step on the younger person if he or she trips or fall. Its a caution to avoid children from being rampaged by running people.

LOL Good question. I guess for the same reason everyone else has said. A small child might get trampled, but it is kind of a funny thought and so true. If there was a emergency, sure enough, you'd be running through that door you're standing next to. Hmm... I wonder if anybody actually used the emergency exits when I was in that store several years ago during the earthquake... I was too scared out of my mind to notice what was going on around me. I was fairly young, too.

I guess what they were trying to say was not to block the door in case people will be rushing out of it, and probably will knock you down in the process.

You would get tramppled. I would never want to see a poor innocent toddler get knocked over, thanks!

haha because if that emergency exit is stuck than you have to travel a longer distance to an alternate route to exit the building. Besides its a safety precaution for all the other kids, if 1 big adult is in a hurry to exit the building he/she may injur a toddler.
