Do you take your dog to work?

Do you work for a corporation or for a small business or just yourself? A friend and I are trying to get our job to let us have a "dog day" once a week. Any tips on how to make a doggie work day successful for everyone (including the dog!) involved? Any suggestions on specific etiquette rules?

I'm a stay at home mom but just wanted to wish you luck with getting your doggy day approved. I also saw another post of yours and saw that you are considering a Labradoodle pup. We're getting a Goldendoodle puppy next week and are SO excited! If you are interested I can give you info on the breeder. I have a pic of our puppy in my profile with my pictures. :)

Oh my gosh!! I just checked out the photo. She's absolutely precious!! How's it going with the new puppy? I've been researching labradoodles and have found that b/c they're not purebred, it's sometimes hard to predict what the dog will look like, or what temperment they will have. Is it the same with Goldendoodles? Also, I'm trying to find a mini labradoodle b/c I live in the city, in a small condo. Even though there's a great dog park a few blocks away, I just can't get a large dog. I see too many people in my neighborhood cramming huge dogs in teensy apartments, and it just seems to sad for the dog. Thanks for sharing the photo. That has to be the cutest thing I've seen all day!

Thx! We haven't actually gotten our puppy yet. We'll get her next Monday or Tuesday. The picture I have was taken by the breeder and emailed to me. I agree that a smaller dog would be better for smaller living space. There are some breeders doing the mini doodles so I wish you luck in finding one. I think as long as you see pictures of the parent dogs and pictures of pervious litters then you can have a fair idea of what your puppy will look like once it's grown. Before picking our puppy I saw pictures and emailed someone who has a dog from a previous litter of the same parents of our puppy. I wanted to know their experience with their puppy and any health info and size/weight history that they could give me. You do have to do your homework before just picking any cute puppy. Good Luck and best wishes to you!
