I have purchased and sold on ebay. The best way to tell wheter or not you could trust a person is by checking out there feedback. If you still have concerns or doubts by through paypal, that way there if the itme is never delivered, you can file a claim and after paypal looks into it they will refund you your money. If you are worried that it is a fragile item purchase insurance it is only and extra 1.30 or so this way here if it is broken or lost or stolen you will get refunded your money. Or the buyer will have to replace it. There is no real for sure way of knowing whose real and whose a scam you just gotta follow your instinct. dont buy real exspensive things if you are having doubts.

yea but over the internet it is very easy for people to make fake accounts or use different addresses and make up whole identities and no one can ever tell

I have bought and sold on ebay for about 2 years. I have never run into any problems. But you have to make sure that you check out your seller. Does he have a lot of sells next to his name. Does he have good feeback. Did you check out his selling terms and his shipping terms. You can get ripped off on ebay, but if you are careful everything usually goes okay. I think most sellers are very honest. There are those few who give everyone a bad name. I have been selling custom made doll clothes for about 2 years. My seller name is lonewolfer54. Check me out.

You can try to safe guard yourself by checking out their feedback. As long as the feedback is good and there are not suspicious looking negatives on them you should be fine and have nothing to worry about. If you use pay pal to pay for your items you have like a back up security. I have never had any problems at all on ebay.

The best way is to look at their feedback record, and see how long they have been a member. Then use your best judgement.

Usually if the seller has good feedback report you can trust her/him.
