some people dont see anything wrong with it, and others say different for many different reasons, such as growth and attitude problems later on down the line or even stingyness!! what is your OPINION or FACTS?

It really depends on what you mean by "spoil", since what some people consider spoiling, others wouldn't. If you mean buy them everything they want and let them make their own rules and do what ever they want to do and boss their parents around and talk back to their parent - then that is bad. Children need rules and limits. They need to learn to respect thier parents and other people. They need to be children and parents need to act like a parent and be a responsible parent. If you mean paying attention to your child and buying them an occasional special treat - that is fine and that is not really spoiling them.

I also sometimes do it. But really sometimes. I do it just to have some fun. And I don't think doing it once a while will make him to have attitude problems.
