well u are very right.......child abuse to me means using some form of verbal demotions that mentally affect that child and deprives the child from his or her rights........ Of course children have been abused throughout human history. Some believe that, for the first time in history we are beginning to face the true prevalence and significance of child abuse. Statistics on rates of child abuse and neglect are controversial.
