When you are going to sitan exam, are you pumped-up and rearing to go? Or are you relaxed and confident inside? Which method of attacking the exam will prove to be more effective? Please indicate how long you have used the method and ALSO what are your achievements in academic education, i.e. did you top the state or whatever. I want to hear from the members who have had the most success.

Taking notes and studying is how I ace my exams. The only other method I have ever heard of is cheating, and I don't believe in cheating. Can't learn anything by cheating. As far as success, I'm currently holding a 3.833 GPA.

been awhile since I was at school but I was never any good at the best of times, at exam time I would just go numb....it is always an advantage to have a good memory which eas something I never had so I was pretty dumb.

Well, the test that I've ever taken that was close to what you are describing was the high school TASP and if you don't pass it, you don't get to graduate from high shool. I studied really well for it and I tried to clear my head from anything else that was happening in my life and focused only on the test. I did pretty good and I got to graduate from high school. And that method worked for me since then.

Lucky that you passed, yeah? Anybody else got any other experiences or techniques the use when sitting a test? Do you re-arrange all your stuff on the table; or is this bad for you? I've heard you have to slow down your breathing and try saying things when you are getting ready; like place pencil here, put watch here slowly inside you head. Is this true?
