senior citizens

I am almost a senior citizen! I do not wish to bias this discussion because of my position. I was wondering if it is better for senior citizens to be with their families or is it better for them to be in old age homes. This is aasuming they are no longer living by themselves. I think old age homes provide better physical care and families would provide better mental care. What is your opinion.
