Speed read?

When going over posts do you speed read? Those discussions with a lot of response are quite the read. Do you spend the time to read everything? Do you just respond to the original? Good speed readers can skim pretty fast and get what is being said.

I read the original post and then quickly read through all the reponces to see where my response would best fit it, sometimes its replying directly to the original but other times its commenting under someone elses post

That is pretty well what I do. Somethimes though I avoid the topics with so many responsess. Unless I can contribute independently, of the discussion. Those popular topics pay more.HeHeHe
