Should they make more sequels?

My husband and I watched all three movies again this weekend, and we are always commenting on how we are now closer to the 'future' than the 'present' in these films. 2015 is only 8 years away, and 1985 was 22 years ago, what would you think about a remake or another sequel?

Some movies are definitely 'stand-alones', like The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Forrest Gump and Good Will Hunting, as well as Invincible (released last summer). Something like Star Wars has developed well, with well-written sequels, but then you have Rocky, which had some uh, well, rocky sequels. At this rate, the next Rocky sequel will be him in a retirement home, teaching seniors to box and crying out at night, "Adrian! Aaaaaa--drian!". God, I feel old!

i love the back to the future trilogy and could watch them all day. I think they should leave the films as they are because they are icons and just perfect where we left them. So many sequels have been made years after the original, and they always turn out to be slightly disappointing, just remember how good terminator 3 was! If they were to make another and it didn't meet expectations it may kill off the other films and ruin the back to the future name.

I would like to see a 4th edition, but I don't think they could be played by the original actors, I mean M.J Fox has parkinsons, and C Lloyd is getting old now (please correct me if I'm wrong) so maybe new actors? However good or bad the new movie would be, the original 3 will remain the same... just great.

i think it would be good for them to make another sequal after the 3rd one. just to see what happens with doc, and what marty does without the time machine or doc. it would be interesting.

I dont think BTTF would be the same without the original Doc Brown & Marty Mcfly.
It just cant be. I think they could do a sequel though even with the minor characters
in it like Marty's girlfriend,Biff and such. But,it just might work..
Or they could ask MJ Fox and Chris Lloyd to play a minor role.
I hope they make it soon before their both old!
