Sacher cake

Yes I know that cake...in Germany it's called Sacher Torte. I like chocolate but I prefer it on it's own.....not so much in a cake.

i dont know that cake..but all i can say is i love chocolate cakes..i can say that im totally addicted to chocolate cakes..i can eat cakes everyday..

I have never heard of this kind of cake. I dont mind chocolate cake. I much prefer white. With chocolate icing thats fine.

Isn't that more of a tort? We don't do much chocolate cake although my daughter would prefer it. I did have a mint chocolate cake a lady in town would make. It was a heavy cake, but so light to eat. And it got better each day it sat protected. Not that it lasted a very long time. She is not in business now and I will miss that cake!

It consists of chocolate sponge cake cut into three layers, between which apricot jam are thickly spread between the layers and on the top and sides of the cake. The whole cake is then iced with a velvet-like chocolate and served with a side dish of whipped cream. I love chocolate cakes.

I've heard of Sacher cakes, they are typically Austrian and they are really delicious. An extreme tip for anyone who planning on going there for vacation. It is delicious but be careful not to eat too much. Overall, in general, I like chocolate cakes but if it is too chocolaty then I can't eat so much.
