Any suggestions as to how to gain weight safely? I am 5 foot 4 inches tall and only weigh around 103 pounds. But I do eat a lot! My family and friends can vouch for that! Its hard for me to gain weight! Help! Anyone!

Wow! I am the expert on gaining weight. I will help you gain 20 pounds no problem: BREAKFAST: Eat a bowl of cereal EVERY morning or whatever you enjoy to eat... don't eat fruit make sure that there is some sort of bread in your meal to fatten you up a bit... also drink something with CALORIES like orange juice or milk. If you drink coffee make sure you put some FLAVOR into it for extra calories. LUNCH: Eat a sandwich and chips for lunch... drink a POP... NOT DIET... the pop is a big key to gaining weight. Along with your chips pack a healthy snack with high calories such as a banana (typically have 100 calories in them) AFTERNOON SNACK: You will be full already but you MUST eat one more thing. Either have another hand full of chips or have another pop NOT DIET... this is another 120 calories into your day DINNER: Eat a nice big dinner. DRINK A POP NOT DIET. Make sure that there is meat, cheese and bread with your dinner to help fatten you up. NIGHT SNACK: Gotta have one more pop or something to eat This diet will help you gain the weight you need. Subsitute all of your liquids accept for the morning liquids with a high calorie non diet pop. You can get high calorie caffeine free pop like Sprite as well.

Oh yes the other main key is to EAT ALL OF YOUR FOOD. Don't leave half of anything... EAT IT ALL. You don't need to drink all the pop though.

Thank you for this! I'm just concerned about that drinking too much pop might make me acidic.

Well, then you need to start drinking Slimfast or things that will give you high calories. Maybe find out what your favorite food type is and indulge. Such as cheese, bread... Im a bread addict...

Maybe it's in your genes. Some people don't retain fat tissues in their body as much as others would do. But try to eat carbohydrates like rice or bread. It's sole purpose is for energy and if you are not energetic enough, it would surely turn into fat.

My father is the same way - he has a really fast metabolism so gaining and keeping weight is really difficult. My suggestions would be to drink Ensure OR Ensure Plus. Another suggestion is to go to a search engine and use the keywords "weight gain", "thin", "Ensure" and there is a ton of information. Good luck!
