Can you love and not like at the same time??

So, just having a discussion with a colleague and raised the question of how awkward it is to love somebody and not like them....sounds a little bizarre probably...but if you give it some thought there are bound to be people in your life that you do honestly love but don't like... think about it...especially blood relations eg. siblings/parents etc. who you love but quite possibly don't like...any comments?

It is a bizarre side of human nature though isn't it?? I have a close friend(over 30 years and almost like brothers) who I could quite happily kill at times(especially in recent months)... but woe betide anyone who harmed him!

Good afternoon scarydog and my what a scarydog you are! teeheehee! In my opinion you can because you have to. You love your blood relatives because they are just that, how many people would choose to have one of their relatives as a friend if they wasn't a relative? Great discussion btw
