I am one, since 1961, and I believe there are many of us here in myLot. I think this is a great way to find people who are searching the truth - and it is interesting to discuss with all who have so different backgrounds and religions here. I often try to find an article about the subject they are interested in on the www.watchtower.org site. This site has a lot of information also for those who are not yet interested in studying the Bible, so I recommend it for everyone.

I love how no matter what state, town or country a person visits their is still a Jehovah Witnesses there to meet and learn more about the bible. They all believe the same thing. I don't know any other religion that big that is united.

Hi, lizzyt2007, That is true, almost everywhere in the world we can find brothers and sisters that we can trust, so we donĀ“t need to feel alone. If you go to my profile, you can read what discussions we have had lately. We are trying to get people interested in reading the Bible. You might also like to read the poem I posted here. The same poem is in Triond in two versions.

In the past there have been many JWs in mylot but they have all disappeared. Did the Watchtower recently run a campaign on the evilness of the internet and all that information out there?

Why would debating your faith be a bad thing? I think debating helps educate and stretch your boundaries in your knowledge, but that has never really been embraced by the Jehovahs Witnesses has it?

What do you base this on? Christ sought out the ungodly to minister to.

this is for all out there that think Jehovah Wittnesses are a cult. They have many truths about the earth. they don't teach their is such thing as "hell" cause why would God create such a evil place for people when he is a Loving God? They also teach what the earth and humankinds future is on the earth. The teach what's God's name and what does it mean? They love people so thats why they teach others in the world about Who Jehovah God is. They only live by what the bible teaches because it is the word of God. The newest Awake Magazine- Aug. 2010 talks about "who they really are" If you got questions ask one of them for a magazine or go to http://www.watchtower.org/

The best thing to do to find out what JW really believe, is asking them - and as they offer a free bible study, why not accept one? It is always better get first hand information. Many who earlier had prejudices have changed their mind after doing sincere research.

A cult is a religion or a group that blindly and foolishly follows a man. Jehovah's Witnesses follow the bible and the teachings of what God says

You only need to study Jesus and what he taught. Joseph Smith, Mohammad, David Koresh and many, many others are false prophets who changed the Bible to suit their needs. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the light".

I was once a JW but was disconnected because I married someone that is not of the same religion. I have been wanting to speak to some of my fellows but the religion does not allow it. I hope some of the JWs here would want to speak to me even here on myLot, I really miss the teachings there.
