Defining 'light' to the blind..

How do I explain what light is to a blind person, how do I tell him what anything looks like if he doesn't know what is meant by 'looks'??

If you want to explain light to a person, take him outside on a sunny day, and turn his face to the sun. That warmth is light. if you want to explain colour, think of things you associate with that colour, that sunlight is yellow, cold water is blue, fire is orange, the cool of shadows is grey, the smell of plants or grass is green, the smell of freshly dig earth or coffee brewing is brown, Use your other senses! Black, by the way would be a cold dark place where the light and sound is muffled or non existance, like inside a shut walk-in freezer

Use his sense of touch like the above poster suggested....Some things may be tricky to "show" but its not impossible by any means...
