Pawn shops: Do you have any scruples (qualms)

in pawning something when a sudden financial need arise. I did it once or twice when I was low in cash and something urgent came up. I felt awkward and hoped nobody sees me while I'm in the pawn shop. I know there is nothing wrong with it but I just felt that way.

I haven't pawned ,but if I ever have to do it then I will, even if I feel odd.The best part about crisis is it separates our real friends from the so called friends and I'd be very keen to know my true friends in such a crisis .I don't think the real friends will look down on me for pawning if need arises.
