Although I've written a novel I'm not a creative person, and I had to rely on a lot of personal experiences to mix with the fictious bits in my writing, Are you creative? What insoires you?

Just because you mixed person experiences in with your fiction doesn't mean that you aren't creative. Its how you put the whole package together. You've written a whole novel - I'd say that took creativity to do so. I'm creative in some areas. Writing is one of them. What inspires me? Characters. I like to wonder why people do the things that they do. That usually gets me thinking and my imagination starts to bloom and I go from there.

Thanks for the kind words. I agree finding what motivates people to do things is an interesting way to release the imagination and see how many reasons you can think of.

What sort of things inspire you? People? Places? Ideals? Some people get inspired by wanting to present a moral injustice in a fictional way to make others think.

I guess my main source of inspiration comes from other human beings. By what they, say and/or do. This is why I know I'm not creative, I need prompting.

I am very creative with art, less in writing. I can spend hour and hours doing oil painting or photography. Writing only sometimes, when working on family story.

You're very lucky. In my final year (twelve) of school art was my only failure. I can't paint, or draw. To demonstrate things to my students I draw stick figures. Sad isn't it!

according to my close friends, i am a creative writer. i think i can really write an interesting story out of nothing. i've clothed my dreams with rich phrases to make them sound real. i mostly get inspired by my own life experiences. i think you can find more stronger emotions in them.

Well, you're very lucky. I think I'm creative once I get going, but I usually need the seed to be sewn by a third party, or an experience.

I can say I'm creative but not in the sense of writing but in photography and editing video and pictures that was one of my skills that sometimes eat my time for it tooks an hour to edit a certain film of video and less than hour to edit a picture. I also like writing and I really want to enriched my knowledge in scriptwriting but there is no time for me to study scriptwriting because I was already loaded with lots of works and studies at the same time.

I don't know how you find time to do everything you do in a day. In addition to your work and study don't you have a baby to look after? You must be extremely well organized maribel.
