Computer Network means connecting two or more computers together for the sharing
information and resources.
Types of computer network:
1) Local Area Network (LAN)
A private network within a range of 10 kilometers owned and controlled by a
single organization is known as LAN.
(2) Metropolitan Area Network (MAN)
A public network connecting different cities and towns mostly through
telephone links or microwave links through a setellite is known as MAN.
(3) Wide Area Network (WAN)
A public or private network used to connect various location including suburbs in a
metropolitan cities.
A MAN is a network that covers an entire city, but uses LAN technology.

thankx for the information angnima.
at my house I use LAN, since it only side by side main computer and client computer.
Man and Wan usually use by large scale company or company that have rather far building I think.
You also can added Internet, International networking , also VPN virtual private networking.
Just my IMHO
