Do you always learn from your own experiences of life or learn from others

Do you learn some important lessons of life always from your own experiences of life or prefer to listen to eldersa nd learn from their experiences as all experiences are not worth trying, they will ruin our lives, so I think we should learn from others mistakes also, what do you'll think about this

Sometimes I learn from other people experience, but of course we can not take all & give the solution as per their experience, because sometimes we have our own way to decide.

I learn a lot from my own experiences but I also try to learn from others as well.
