Do people think worse about me ?

I'm a social worker,so I have to meet many people from diffrent classes.Lastly saw one drankard standing at bus station,making scense around there, on my curisity I go near to him for helping him. Then the people rounded him saying, let him stay like this..Then I told them he is a human being don't moke him, then they began to stare at me..Why?
What I done there ? Do you have such experiece?

you deserve congratulations for this .
no one thinks about others in this modern age , but god always says us to help others . no one is having time to think of others because they dont have the same for themself. please contine your work

Ever notice how people fear what they do not understand?You do the right thing(in my opinion) but you get no support from the public.
being a social worker will be coming into direct contact with people who for one reason or another are having difficulties surviving in today's society.It is a job that has a high burn-out rate that few seem to respect (except those who are on the inside or a client).
