I would recommend pasta! Pasta costs about £1 for 2-3 helpings and a can of sauce is about 40p. Thats £2.20 for 3 meals! About $4 if your american! Its very tasty and only takes about 10 minutes.

I make my own homemade mixes and keep a ready supply on hand at all times. This way I can prepare a nutritous, quick, cheap meal in just a few minutes. I have posted some discussions on how to make your own mixes for numerous things including homemade hamburger helper and biscuit mixes. They save time and money.

I think pancakes or waffles are great. They are certainly cheap (just flour, baking powder, eggs, oil, salt and sugar), and quick. And they aren't just for breakfast. About once a month our family has one or the other as a Saturday night meal.

since I don't cook (my family has asked me not to!) here is my favorite recipe - put chicken in a dish, pour catalina dressing over it , cook. thats it.

well, i'm sure there are some eggs in your fridge. take it out and make a good stir with some cheese and salt. make it as your scramble egg. don't forget to add some black papper,a bit onion if you love to and some beans. you can have it with your garlic bread or white bread.yummy!!!

Cut tomato into slices and mix with stirred eggs(2), add salt or soya source according to your appetite. After well fried, place them on toasts or bread. It's really a dellicious, cheapest and quickest meal.

i would have to say pasta and sauce, you can buy a big huge bag of pasta twists here in the uk for £1 and they sell a jar of pasta sauce for 30p or so so if you bought say 10 jars of pasta sauce thats £3 and £1 for a huge bag of pasta you have atleast 20-30 meals. im good at bargain hunting and i always know whats good and whats not, the cheaper stuff isnt always bad but some of it tastes disgusting but you dont know unless you try things.

Pancakes for sure. It isn't expensive at all, all you have to buy are 2 eggs, 1 litre of milk ,some flour, sugar, and jam..i love the strawberry one :D .And it doesn't take you ages to prepare them, in 10 minutes everything it's prepared for cooking. Bon appetite !

It has to be something with eggs. Maybe an omelet, or scrambled eggs. You can add so many things to eggs to make them even more filling and tasty too. I like to have a ham and cheese omelete with potatoes and maybe an English muffin. Another meal might be a big salad. Filling and good for you too.
