can orkut help anyone?

well i am in india and i am preparing to go australia for mine futher studies and i can say i make lot of friends in australia through orkut so i say orkut help everyone.I doesnot know how it can help you but i knew it can help.so, i says to every one join orkut then say any think about it.
i knew some have joined but they never got benefit from it .
now i says to every one just make search and find what you need.

well i depends in which way u askin this
if its from the money point of view-ie getting refs and all,then i dont think so
if its the social point of view then yes-cuz u can meet a lot of ppl,,then there are a lot of good communitiies out there that can be of real help sometimes

yaa u said right for referals its not good site but for ppl contacting its good site.
