our family are cake lovers and it was influence by my in law who has a bakeshop wherein we are the first to try her cakes for comments and suggestion before she offer it to market. but as a person we all have our favorite wherein you cannot resist to eat it when served. for me I love the chocolate mousse it an all time favorite and recently I love an angel cake wherein it is so soft and light to eat. also the chocolate decadent cake, the overflowing fudge makes me hungry to eat it all. so can you share your favorite cake here...

I love everything that has got to do with chocolate cakes and also cheese cakes. I especially favour chocolate mud cake. The taste is just undescriable. The satisfaction is 100%! However, my husband prefers blueberry cakes and blueberry cheese cakes. I do like them too though i'd prefer the chocolate cakes compared to them.

Hmm. Is your chocolate decadent cake the same thing as my melty chocolate cake? The one that you break it open and it's got the liquid inside? If so, you have great taste :) And that - the melty chocolate cake - is my favourite cake for dessert. The contrast in texture and chocolateyness is to die for.

I love white cake, white frosting with coconut flakes the best. I also love carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Or, angel food cake with strawberry glaze.

HOT MILK SPONGE CAKE Ingredients: 1 stick of butter or margarine 1 cup milk 2 cups flour (any kind) 1 1/2 cup sugar 3 eggs 1 1/2 teas baking powder 1 1/2 teas vanilla In microwave or saucepan on stove, heat milk and butter until melted, DO NOT SCALD. Set aside. In large bowl, mix the remaining ingredients well and slowly add the warm milk mixture while beating (electric hand mixer preferred on medium speed) until most of the lumps are gone. There may be some lumps leftover. Bake in well-greased loaf, bundy=t, tube or cake pans for about one hour at 350 F degrees. Do NOT open oven to check on cake before 45 minutes have passed to avoid center drop. Depending on where you live, you may need additional baking time. Cool or if eating warm, wait about 20 minutes before cutting into. You can frost, decorate, add fruit toppings or ice cream, sprinkle confectioner's sugar on it or eat plain. I like it plain and warm with a glass of milk!
