i say, they are great... this is one recipe... Stuffed Bell Peppers You'll Need: 8 pc large bell peppers 4 cloves garlic, crushed 1 pc medium onion, minced 1/4 kg shrimps, shells removed and sliced 1 kg clams, boiled, shells removed and diced 1 pc large carrot, chopped 2 pc medium singkamas (jicama), chopped 1 pc medium potato, chopped 2 stalks kinchay (chinese celery), minced 1 can (140g) Tomato Sauce 1 pc egg, lightly beaten 2 tbsp breadcrumbs Here's How: 1. Cut each bell pepper crosswise in half. Remove seeds and membranes. Blanch for 10 minutes. Plunge immediately in cold water. Set aside. 2. Sauté garlic, onions, shrimps, clam meat and vegetables in oil. Add Tomato Sauce, 1 tsp iodized fine salt (or 1 tbsp iodized rock salt), 1 tsp soy sauce and 1/4 tsp pepper. Cook until vegetables are done. Remove from heat and stir in half of beaten egg. 3. Fill each bell pepper with 1/4 cup sautéed mixture. Brush top of stuffed pepper with egg, then sprinkle with bread crumbs. Fry upside down until golden brown on top. Serve hot with DEL MONTE Banana or Chili Ketchup.
