which is best anti virus software to use? need help

i really need some help i think i might have some viruses on my computer and i was thinking which might be the best anti virus software to use please help me.

ohh , , don't you have antivirus software now? , , it's very risky , , considering that you are using the net , ,anyway , , i use norton antivirus software , , the best i've used so far , , :-) if you are just at home and you do not want to spend for the an antivirus , , you can download avast! home edition , , it's free download , , :-) hope that information helps

yes i did use one but it was a trial thing since it finished was looking for a new one to use.

We used to use Nortron Anti Virus, but from the past 5 years we use Macafe anti virus for more than 15 computers. None of the system has crashed so far.

i m using mcafee and it is the best one according to me as it neither slows down the pc for its execution and it is able to control virus and other threats.

ya they offer their old antivirus for free. it gets updated by net. so there is no prob.

I only have experiences with Kaspersky and AVG (free edition). I'm now using kaspersky and I must say I'm satisfied with the performance.

I've always used Norton Anti-Virus and had few or none problems until a certain day my computer system crashed and Norton couldn't do anything about it. Ever since then I've switched to Kapersky, it's really reliable and I had no problems thus far ever since I started using it 2 years ago.
