Is it right to send your Parents to a Old Age home?

This is my 500th post. I am really excited about it and that is the only reason why I am put up this interesting post.
My grandparents have 2 daughters and 2 sons. My mom is the eldest. My grandparents left the other 2 sons and a daughter under my mom's care and went abroad to earn the living as they were not rich. My mom was married at the age of 16. My granparents always sided their sons and did whatever they could for them. They even got their son married and setup his life. One of my Uncle who is unmarried took his share of their property and left them. The other one also took part of his share by selling off their house and settled with his wife and kids and gave them false promises that he would take care of them but it is around 10 years and he does not even bother to give them the bare necessities and wants them to be put in the OLD AGE HOME.
My mother did all that she could do to help in taking care of them but now she is also helpless as she has to take care of my sister's som and stays with her.
I just wanted to ask you'll if it is fair to put them in the OLD AGE HOME inspite of doing so much for their sons?

I would only put them in an old age home if they requested to do so or if I knew that I could not take care of them myself due to work and other things happening in my life. If there was another family member that lived in the area, I would ask to see if they could help out when I am at work. If I had the money to hire someone to look after my parents while I was at work then I would do that. I would try several things before having them put in a nursing home.

well in a situation as urs i can understand y u wanna send ur grandparents to old age home! in fact it wud be better for them,,, atleast they wud be people of their own age!

how can u even think of doing a thing like that to your and if anybody is doing it it is real bad!! parents are the people without whom we wont have been existing in this world, the nurture us, guard us, help us grow into a better individual...
they help us walk when we are not able too and when its our turn to be their old age stick.... sending them to an old age home is bad... n i m very sad that things like this are still happenning!!
