I stopped smoking 2 months ago, with the help of Zyban. Now my husband is on Zyban as well, and just like me, he is suffering almost all of the side effects on the pamphlet. Even gaining weight, yes I know allot of people gain weight after stopping, but now that I am off Zyban my weight is back to normal, and according to my doctor all antidepressants let you gain weight. Although I'm on a strict eating plan as I am determined not to exchange the one evil for the other.
Anybody else with the same experience

I tried Zyban now for the second time, and i can't carry on because it is making me feel horrible! That stuff is worst than my smokes! Until something else comes around I'll keep smoking. Ten times better for my health than that stuff. It really messes with your mind. Glad it worked for you.I will keep my eye on your postings to see if you aren't turning a bit cuckoos after the use of that stuff:) lol

Hi Annie,
I am glad you are doing well on your plan. I quite smoking about 20 years ago when they did not have these kinds of plans. Still haven not had a cig. I do get the urge, though. What about you?

You are so brave, I really battled and oh the temptation some days, but I am saving my money, in a savings account I call the sin account, that used to buy this devil habit, so whenever the temptation comes I look at my sin savings balance:)

I've considered trying Zyban and it's good to hear that the weight gain stopped when you were done. I quit once many years ago and gained about 10 pounds but eventually took that off. I give you credit for following through and quitting!

You are not saying if you started again or not, if so try something else it is called Chantix, It is not available in South Africa yet, and I believe the side effects are considerably less severe
