I always love the swing. I enjoy riding it depending on my moods. When im on for fun, I go higher up, up, up. When I'm tired and just want to relax, a little sway does it. And believe me, i enjoy the swing as much as a little girl does.

There are a few different rides that I remember from my childhood that are still my favorite to this day. I used to remember riding on the merry go round, the slides, the jungle gym and the tire swings as well as the normal swings. They were all so much fun and I remember them for that. I used to remember certain kids who I was in the playground with always wanting me to push them on the tire swing because unlike anyone else there, I could get them going the highest. The kids would always come to me for that and I'd feel good because I was able to contribute to their fun at the playground. I used to remember riding on the tire swing myself and I always liked them. They seemed to be more fun than just a regular swing. The tire seems to bring something different to the whole swing where it just can't go forwards and backwards, it can also swivel and twist around. I really enjoyed helping the other kids in the playground have fun on those tire swings by pushing them. They'd always tell me to go higher and higher and I used to have to be careful too that I didn't push them too hard. I wanted them to have fun but at the same time be safe as well. I liked the normal swings as well and I always liked how there was the challenge to try to get as high as you could. I remember that there was one time where me and my other half had gone to a playground near where he was living at the time. They had a full playground including a set of swings. We went over and both of us were kind of having a contest to see who could get higher on them. We had such a good time on those swings I want to go back to another playground and goof around like we did that one time. I also enjoyed the slides at the playground and I didn't have a specific one that I would choose over another one. If there was a curly one or a straight one, covered or uncovered, it didn't matter. I loved the ability to get in one and slide to the bottom. It's probably one of the most simplistic yet most fun ride a the playground. I sometimes wished they would make slides like they have at water parks but make them just normal slides because I love the feeling of just letting gravity take you all the way down to the bottom of the slide. It's a crazy feeling to know you kind of don't have control of where you're going and that the slide is dictating that for you instead. I liked climbing on the jungle gyms as well but I would never hang off of them like certain kids would with the monkey bars. I was always content to climb over it from one side to the other. They seemed to always have a strange shape to them also which made them a unique challenge to climb on. They weren't straight up and down, it was more like climbing over as man made hill so to speak. My favorite ride though at the playground bar none is the merry go round. I can't believe that most playgrounds don't have one anymore as they seem to be taking them out of playgrounds for some reason. Anyways, I really loved spinning around on those things until I got dizzy enough to fall over. I remember one time I was hanging on the edge and I got smacked off of one and I ended up winding myself and I layed there until someone got a teacher to come check on me. I was alright just completely out of breath. So, in conclusion, these are my favorite rides at the playground and they all have a different reason why they're my favorites. When I get a chance again I want to go back to one just so I can revisit my childhood again. I felt that way the last time I went and it was a lot of fun. Thanks for allowing me to share! xx
