I do not like any kind of soup. Call me weird, but I when I have soup I drain the liquid and only eat the meat and veggies. Ramen noodles I make liquid free too. I LOVE stew though, must be beacause it is thicker and not so soupy, plus all the goods are in big hunks. Which do you prefer soup or stew?

No doubt i like the stew more than the soup it is definetly great and but i think its value is lower and the soup has higher nutrition value. I don't like soup and don't like salad and don't like milk,i think i like only the things without any value:) But I wonder how can you like milk and don't like soup??

HAHA! I have no idea how I can like milk and not soup. I never knew the two went together.

I do not purchase commercial soups or stews as they have MSG in them. I do not use MSG. I love homemade soups and stews and we eat alot of them in winter. I prepare them on my coal heating stove so it does not take any electric. I really dont have a favorite. Just whatever I am in the mood for at the time

I am a soup girl! I love the end when there is nothing but the broth and I can turn my bowl up an slurp it up, LOL. It's the best part of the whole meal to me.

When I am a bit strapped for cash I like to make a huge pot full of veggies and beans .. lots of root vegetables and things like butter beans, chick peas all thos nice 'hearty' things .. I cut all the veggies into nice chunks .. I use a little stock and just throw it all in a slow cooker overnight .. it's what I call my soup/stew .. it's not as thin as a soup, but too thin to be a stew heheh!! It's great with some really nice crusty bread rolls or mashed potatoes .. it goes a long way and costs very little at all ... So I would have to say I love both .. soups and stews ...

I am a stew kind of gal, too. I don't like soups very much. I will use a little of the liquid in my stew but not very much. I usually try to dip mine up without much of the juices. So you are not as weird as you think or it could be that a lot of us are weird so you have lots of company.

for me its soup. I make my own and always make them clear as an appitiser to a meal. I particularly enjoy red lentil soup, simply spiced with cumin and corriander, blessed be

I prefer my stews. I like it nice and thick with lots of meat and vegetables in it. Most soups just don't have enough stuff in them for me. Now I do like bullion or brothe but soups always seemed like it has too much water in it. That someone forgot to add some ingredients or was stretching it out to feed too many people.

I love stew more but i also love the cream soups like cream of chicken and cream of mushroom. I have them more often because i just buy the cup-a-soups and poor hot water in them. I dont like other soups though, they are just too thin for me.

I have no preference but being a vegetarian I eat both. I particularly love spicy butter bean soup and chick-pea casserole. I think that soup is a really good way to boost your vegetable intake painlessly, just like smoothies are for fruit.

I love both soup and stew. For soup, I like eating it alone without adding any rice. For stew, I like eating it with rice, noodle or just on its own. Types of soup I like is cow's tail soup (I don't know what you call that in English... :) lol.. Malaysians call it 'sup ekor'. Bone soup I like too.. we call it 'sup tulang'. LOL... If you feel like laughing just laugh ok.. it sounds funny anyway.... lol... For stews I like mushrooms, beef and sometimes chicken. I can't eat chicken too often though, due to allergic reaction. All in all, soup and stew are all just fine to me. Both are my favorite! Have a nice day!

I like stew over soup, if I don't have choice and soup is just only available for cooking, I see to it it has mushrooms.

stew is just a thicker version of soup, casserole is completely defferent, and just means somethings baked all together in one dish, but it does not usually involve a broth like soup or stew does.although i suppose it could, and then it would be simialr to a stew other than it is cooking methods.
