well there r many people who may feel ur way i don't know why though he alone wasn't responisble for freeing india he was the one who did the most silent revolutions of the world and achieved the dreams he wanted(THE FREEDOM OF INDIA....he is respected father of nation and the achievements has made him great u should be proud that ur born in the same country in which he was born

Mahatma Gandhi is a great person. He left India and went to the best Law School in Europe and got his law degree. He would be funny arguing to get out of a parking ticket though? He came back to India and used his knowledge, will , passion to free his entire country. He started one of the greatest resistances of all time. It was called Passifist resistance. Where you don't physically fight the power you just refuse to do what say. Martin Luther King Jr. did the same thing. happy mylot day.
