Why are more people not using this?

Why are more people not using MyLot? They pay for submissions to questions when Yahoo!Answers and Google Answers do not and yet they have a LOT more users.

People are scared of the unknown and are afraid to even give it a try or investigate it. I will never understand when I tell someone about this site and they say it is a scam, and I say how do you know it is? They just think it is, and never really investigate the truth, which just shows ignorance on their part.

If others are offering no money or compensation and let us just say that MyLot DOESN'T pay out... is that still a scam... maybe but you are in the same situation as Yahoo!Answers where I am a level 4 and stopped before coming here.

I guess it is more relaxing to simply chat and network with people allover the world for the fun of it, than being hopeful for money that may cost you your eyesight for spending too many hours in front of the screen!
