Who is Your Favorite American Idol Judge?

I have to say mine is Simon. He is great. Yes he can be rude, but he is honest. Randy comes in second. He is a little ruder this year than he has been in the past. Paula is third. She is just to nice. She needs to learn how to be a little rude. Who is your favorite and why?

Mine is Simon but I favor Paula only when she's doped up on meds. She's unforgettable in that state.

Yes Paula is very funny when she is on meds. She doesn't seem to be on them this year.

Simon hands down..he is 100% real with the people who know they can't sing but will go up there and make a fool of themselves...Randy is trying to be nice and Simon-ish at the same time and it isn't working..Paula..just needs to be replaced..simple and plain..but I love Simon

Yes Simon is honest with the people. He is very honest when he likes them also. He tells them when he thinks they will be in the finals.

I love Randy. He says what needs to be said with out resorting to personal attacks. Simon is a good judge but does he really need to call people bug eyes and stuff? Paula is a whole different story. She is getting weird lately.

Yes Randy is great. Simon makes the show more interesting. I think some people have a love/hate relationship with him. They love him because he is honest, they hate him because he is brutal. I think Puala has been a little better lately.

This is an intriguing topic to discuss. My personal choice is Simon as well. You are right, he maybe rude but he is honest in his remarks. Among the three judges, Simon has a keen eye for talent. Randy and Paula are on the same level for me. They represent the kind and sincere judge. I think packaging is more of a criteris for them. :)

Of course it's Simon. He makes good TV, he is rude and right. I can't stand Paula, she is stupid and repeats everyhting the Simon and Randy say. A piece of fruit could take her place and the show would be just as good.

My favorite judge is definitely Simon. Yeah, he's rude sometimes, but he speaks what everyone else is thinking. Seriously, after watching some of these idiots audition, how could you not be rude with your response, unless you're just that nice of a person.

We don't even see all of them that they have to sit through. I would probably make more people cry than Simon does. I think some of them are actually going on there just to get the rude comments. They are so bad that they have to know what they are going to here from Simon.

What I want to know is what is Paula on? She acts weird half of the time. I think I like Simon the best too. His rudeness can be appealing at times.

So far Paula doesn't seem to be as out of it as she has in the past. Hopefully she will stay focused this year. I just would like to see her quit being so nice.

Mine is Paula, She is very sweet and doesn't try to hurt anyone on the show in anyway.

I like Simon too. He gets right down to the point. He says some things that I could never say to a person, but as you said at least he is honest. During tryouts alot of people do sing like crap and at least he can tell them that they are not gonna make it. I am too soft hearted, I could never do his job.

There's a time and a place for honesty and I think Simon goes overboard. I'm also not sure how much of this is just "fake", like the Jerry Springer Show!

I don't think the show is fake like Jerry Springer. I do know that the ones we get to see have auditioned for other people first. They send so many good and bad people on for entertainment. I also think that some of the ones that come on there and do really weird things are trying to be the next William Hong. They are hoping to make a little money on their bad act. Then others just want to say they was on and had a chance to say something mean to Simon.

Simon is great. He is very funny. He has a dry since of humor. I have to watch the show so I can hear what he has to say next.
