hello friends i m working as computer professional.so i think it is very important or essential part of life...... ......Is it for you ...!!!! what u thought....plz put your ideas here...so that evry one know that computer is essential part of life or not.....

Computers are essential. For research (your own, or for your kids school), to improve your life (new diets, new discoveries), for your leisure, for meeting with friends, long lost ones, or far away ones. The list can go on, and on, and on.

I think it is a generalized statement. There are billions of people to whom computer is just a machine for some people. Not having computer or its knowledge does not affect them. There are computer literates who work in offices, factories or in transport field, for them computer is very essential.
