If you Blow Dry it, do you get split ends quickly even after conditioning. If you Air Dry, do you get split ends easily?

Lord, If I dried my hair, I would look like Don King. I have what they call " Big Hair". I throw in some moose and let it air dry.

And yes, I do get split ends even though I do not blow it dry. I have to keep it trimmed.

That was funny! When I read your comment about Don King a quick picture flashed in my mind of his electrified looking hair. Thanks for the visual!!!

I prefer natural way of drying of my hair rather than hair dryer.Becz there is a possibility of causing of brain cancer due to use of hair dry(i read in some article). And also hair dryer makes hair course and causes split ends.

I just trimmed off all my split ends and have started to air dry my hair since last April. So far I haven't gotten any split ends yet. Thanks for your info.

I just let my hair air dry. I have long hair and the hair dryer makes it frizzy.

blow dryer - hair dryer, blow dryer
I towel dry part-way, then blow dry most of it dry (except for the ends), and finish by letting it air dry the rest of the way. I don't get split ends doing it that way.

blow dryer - I blow my hair dry. If I don't it takes all day to dry. My hair is extremly thick!
I blow dry my hair and very seldom use conditioner on it at all. I don't recall ever having split ends on it either. My daughter on the other hand chronically has split ends even though she heavily conditions hers. I've just always had really healthy hair -- I'm not sure why, because I sure don't do anything extra to it.

Luckyyyyy!!!! You must be eating something right in your diet to have awesome hair like that. I probably follow after your daughter more when I blow dry my hair. Since I've started air drying my hair, it has stayed the most healthiest than I have ever seen it in my whole life. thank you for responding.

The blow dryer doesn't effect the hairs from splitting at all? Even with curly hair? or do you have to use conditions too? thank you for responding.

If that's your photo on the icon, you have short hair.... Air drying would definitely be the easiest and best way to go. thank you for responding.

I usually do a roller wrap and then set under a hooded dryer

Do you get many split ends doing it that way? I'd be curious. A hooded dryer isn't as strong as using the blow dryer. Let me know if you get a chance. thank you for responding.

I have to let my hair dry naturally else it looks like a giant pom pom! It's naturally really curly.

I have always air dried it. It's too time consuming to blow dry it. I've had long hair for years and it's thick so it takes forever to blow dry. I guess maybe it's all in my "head" but my hair seems to dry and conform itself better when air dried. I've discovered this stuff from the salon I last went to that helps your hair air dry faster. I'll have to post the name of it later. As far as split ends go, I think irregardless you are liable to get them. That may to some degree be out of our control.

I think I've only blow dried my hair less than ten times in my entire life. Air dry for me.

That's impressive to me. I've grown up with blow drying, perming, curling irons, etc. with my hair and all the damage with it. Since I've finally started air drying my hair after trimming all the split ends, its never been healthier. Air Drying seems to be the best way to go! thank you for responding.

I normally air dry it...but on occasion I blow dry it. When split ends occur, I normally just cut off a small amount of my hair and let it grow back.

I usually let it air dry. It's been taking forever to dry because my hair is getting longer. I need a haircut! :) I prefer to let my hair dry without a hair dryer. Plus I don't work so I don't need to use the hairdryer. :)
