I'm aware that most of you out there belongs to a country which was once a colony to the UK, but what do you all think of us now that you've escaped our evil clutches, is there an inbred dislike of the british or are you thankful for all the good stuff we did for you and now quite like us, or do you simply not care?
Heres my view:
1) The Aussies call us names and love to beat us at everything and anything, but deep down they are actually quite fond of us. Same goes for Canada
2) Indians seem to be very friendly to us, but are you all just being polite? same goes for the Irish
3) USA You have guns to protect yourselves against us so its clear what you think, isn't it?
4) What about the rest of the world? what are your thoughts?

I'm British and I'm also interesated in what the rest of the world has to say of us.
I'm afraid that the Jade Goody business sank our reputation (though it might have been retrived by the way Brits stepped up to vote Shilpa the winner).

I live in America but feel I am British at heart, so I guess that that is your answer right there. *laugh* Even though I've never lived in Britain, I must admit that I feel more of an affinity for all things British than I do for all things American. I probably will live the rest of my days here in the USA, but I expect that I will always feel more drawn to British music, telvision, and culture than the culture that I live in, not that I find anything wrong with American music, tv, and other such things. I just enjoy the British sensibility and sense of humor more! ^_^
