What in your opinion is it going to be this time. First of all, if you read Dan Browns works do you see an ascending trend in them (Or descending, blah). Anyways what will the next book be? Not the name folks.. What will the subject be. It cant be different from the da vinci code, becoz duh its the sequel of that. Gimme ur ideas.
As with this discussion, The weirdest idea wins, but u guys should have atleast some minute evidence to state a point. Gud luck.

Its all over the internet news. Goto wwww.danbrown.com and you can confirm this information there. But the question is, is it really gonna be a sequel to the Da vinci code? If Mr Dan Brown calls the novel Angels and Demons the prequel to the Da vinci code, then i guess its not what we would get to know till its release. Then Langdon would turn into a comic character like batman or spiderman. If he does write a 'real' sequel, What is it gonna be? The church stole the sacrophagus and now langdon has to get it back.

If the sequel ends in as much inconclusiveness as the origional... then it probably won't be worth watching.
I am basing this on the idea that the movie depicted the books ending !? I found the ending to be almost rushed through as if they were running out of time and ideas!, taking it away from the crux of the theme. Hopefully the book was more explicit in its writing than the movie was trying to express the book! As you have probably gathered I'm not much of a reader!

The movie had a rushed screenplay. All of Dan Brown's books are hollywood screenplays that cant be completely filmed unless u cut a lot of parts of the story. They shud have made the movie in two parts or some thing or they shud have made it a television series. Taking movies of the Dan brown books is completely insane. Its impossible. I hate the movie and Im waiting for the book that is the sequel. Anyways thanks for responding.

its already been deceided. the sequel to da vinci code has been deceided and mr. brown is working on it. its a story which takes place in american soil. its a story about how the U.S capital washington was formed. lot of stuff about free masons is there.

Yup I know. Its called the Solomon Key. And it is about the Freemasons featuring the American Independence Movement History. But it will also explain the Freemasons and the Knights Templar connection, thereby also explaining the connection of the Priory of Sion with the US Govt. But according to Dan Brown (www.nhpr.org / www.nhpr.net), this will not be the actual sequel. It is said be a side story (like tokyo drift of Fas n Furyos or somethin). And the publisher of Dan Brown said that the sequels to Da vinci code would bring some other main characters of Dan Brown Books to Langdon and that it would go beyond a trilogy (its not a trilogy , instead will be like a forlogy or philogy or Silogy ).

Oh come on guys, u guys are not nuts enough to think that Mr brown doesnt have a well versed plot for this sequel. Hey if danny brown wants he can change history as he likes. For example, think this:
Jesus Christ was not born anywhere near Rome.
He was crucified by Jewish priests, with the help of the Roman court and the Roman Guards (Do u need proof for this,..'Read the Bible').
Why would Mr St Peter go that far to build Jesus's Church?
In the next book Daniell G Brown(His name has two 'l's) is going to prove that the real church of Jesus Christ was setup long ago itself by the True followers of Mary spanning wide in the Middle east, North Africa, Iraq, Iran and Jerusalem. This was done with the help of the United States Government, the US Govt is filled with Illuminati(Dan taught me that). When an anti Illuminati President takes over USA(like Daddy Bush and Junior Bush), they try to destroy this so called real church. When Illuminati takes over power, they let this church grow out.
There's also going to be a third book, which will tell us the real secret that the Illuminati and the Priory of Sion commonly share and gaurd. That all Christians and Muslims are brothers. Wow thanks for the response and the corrections, but i think daniel is better with just one l. If Mr dan asks me personally to change it I might change it till then its my wish. I tried your links and one of them took me to the online encyclopedia of the Catholic Church. How can they be of help with this topic.??

Thats what it is. Read the books first and then look at how the church explains these theories. Then use them in your court of understanding.
I hope there is jury in your upstairs. Or is the courtroom vacant?

From what I have gathered from the movie, I do not think that it needs a sequel at all. I think it ended well.
