what makes a person a real good friend?

we always say he/she is my best mate,however somehow in one stage we'd talked behind our best friend or we wil do,have you asked yourself why?what maks a good friend good or even best friend,have you ever though that,what kind of friend are you really?

when he or she knows how to listen.. then he or she is a real good friend...
