Your parents' stories

I just started this and thought I like to share with you all. My life is pretty busy - but I started weekly by asking either my Mom or my Dad to tell me one story in their life whether it happened in their childhood or their youth. Then I wrote it down on my just created scrapbook. I think it is now to do it. Life is short and there are unexpected's. Memories however will last forever. I got this idea from a person that I respect. And he said on each of his birthday, when his Mom asked him what he wanted, he asked her for a real story in her life and he recorded it. I cannot wait until my birthday to ask so I ask weekly. Lee
