The most favorite thing about my home is that it will be paid off in less then 2 years! I suffered financially during my divorce to own this, and I'm proud of myself! I then had to be on a 9 month medical 3 years after my divorce, (spinal surgery) so more struggles, but I'm now seeing the light!! I also love my kitchen, it got remodeled a year before my divorce (bonus!) I went from 2 drawers in there to 8!! :-)

my favorite thing is the rent..I pay very little, and all utilities are included, as well as DSL, so I can do this on the internet. I also love that there are no bugs in here, at all. It's clean. Everything works. I have lots of windows, a gas stove (which kept me warm during this last ice storm we had for 2 weeks when the power went out). I love the wallpaper strip around the top of the cream colored walls, too...the thousand-petal lotus design. Suits me perfectly.

my favorite thing about my home is that no one is right beside me, i have a huge back deck where i can have solitude, and nothing but woods and hills for almost 2 miles behind me...i always have a gorgeous view of the sunrise over the hills, i wake up to deer in my yard, turkeys wandering, lots of birds and other critters to watch in peace and quiet!

That does sound peaceful and quiet!
I would love that to be my backyard.
I would be able to wander in the woods and take pictures all the time.
And to see deer in my yard....oh! I would love it!!!
Can you sit outside and watch them come in your yard if your really quiet?

The fact that it is solar and wind powered. All the windows! My library, kitchen, french doors to the bedroom, and my walk in closet. Oh, almost forgot the claw foot bathtub. Sure do miss it! Just thought about our wood burning stove too. Love the smell of wood burning! Also the greenhouse. Used to grow so many things!

I think my back yard by my landry room is nice. it has a swing set for my friends 2 boys. She lives upstairs and a adult swing. So it's pretty nice to set out side and it is shady.

I have a fireplace and vaulted ceiling too. :)
The vaulted ceilings is not what impresses me. It has actually turned into a pain in the neck because we can't reach to pain them. Now it looks funny because we have to get another attachment to finish.
My favorite thing about our home...
Fireplace is one. I absolutely love watching the fire!!!
Big garden bath tube is two. Of! To be able to sit in there and feel like it is a mini pool. My partner and I can sit in there together and not even touch!
A sitting area in the master bedroom. I have a small couch in the sitting area where I can stay up late at night and type away on myLot. But it also houses my craft table with my egg dyeing supplies.
It is a nice size house. I just wish it had one more bedroom and bathroom! :)

My favorite thing would be the land we have alot of land and the deer come right into my back yard. I also like the pool room that would be pool table not swimming pool. I wish we had a fireplace too.

We're in a transitional rental right now and I don't like anything about it
but the house I just sold, that was my bachelorette pad for 9 years... I LOVED the hard wood floors, I loved my tulip garden (with over 400 tulips in it), and I loved the solid wood doors throughout.
I miss my house.
OH WAIT - the best part about that house? the WONDERFUL neighbors I had to the south. I'll never have neighbors like them again!
