Family Business: Are You Going Into The Family Business? Or Maybe Taking Over

your fathers business? My neighbor is about to take over his father's business while his father semi-retires. Yet he is not happy about it. He has a so so attitude about it. He would just as well be doing something else. I would be proud to take over my family business. You know carry on the name or at least to have your own company. What do you think?

I would be happy to and follow through myself and be greatful that he left a job I could fall back on

I think that is an old type thing now for most of us who work for a living with the major companies there is no family business
