where should I really put the stress in the word content if I was talking about its composition? is it on the first syllable or on the second? what about if I was talking about being contented? I mean content, where is the stress on it?

Hi! Is this your homework? Haha. Anyway, content (composition) has the stress on the FIRST syllable. Content (satisfied) has its stress on the SECOND syllable.

My english professor said the same and Ive been used to it, then just a few days ago, when i did a voice recording in my speech class, the teacher said that I pronounced the word content (composition) wrong. She said that both words are stressed in the first syllable... no distinction. I wanted to protest but she has left me right away!
